Department of the City Secretary

The Department of City Secretary is responsible for:

 

  • conducting village elections

  • giving notice of council meetings and keeping the minutes at those meetings

  • maintaining records of village administration

  • certifying all legal documents

  • serving as Records Management Officer

  • working as a liaison with other government and media groups

  • administrating and managing of grant projects

  • serving as Chief Financial Officer 

  • managing code enforcement

  • administrating the Utility Department
