        Curbside Heavy Trash Pickup Rules
        Place acceptable items within 5 feet of the roadway by 6:00 a.m. on service day. No more than the 2-yard limit will be serviced per heavy trash day.
        
        Items Not Accepted
        
            - No construction/remodeling material (lumber, plywood, drywall, carpeting and other flooring, tile, roofing)
- No concrete, dirt/mulch, bricks, batteries, cross ties, rocks
- No auto parts or tires
- No paint or liquid of any kind
- No hazardous waste (chemicals, fertilizer, pesticides, oil/petroleum products, medical waste or sharps)
- No logs more than 18" in diameter or over 50 pounds
- No items that contain Freon
- No flammable items of any kind
- No closed containers/tanks of any kind
- No animal carcasses
- No items over 50 pounds in weight
- No item more than 5 feet in length
 
        The Village of Surfside does not currently offer recycling. Residents can visit the Waste Connections website for recycling options.
