The St. Patrick's Day Committee is a Surfside Beach-based, non-profit 501(c)(4) organization that plans and implements the annual St. Patrick's Celebration held the weekend of or before St. Patrick's Day (March 17).

This group is involved in:

  • working with school groups to design the annual official T-shirt
  • planning the parade and parade route
  • security
  • fundraisers
  • costume and parade contests
  • St. Patrick's Day party

Proceeds from the celebration support local groups including the Police Department, EMS, Fire Department, and Safe Our Beach Association. To get involved with this group, contact Georgia Keeney.
